Co-Owners Who Rent

Chapel Hill annual $200 Rental Administration Fee is due on March 15, 2021.
It is the owners’ responsibility to follow the Association’s rental policy. This includes providing us with a copy of lease renewals or changes and any tenant changes.
We also require proof that you have obtained the rental license (Permit of Occupancy) with the City of Ann Arbor.

Project Grow Garden 2021

Spring is closer than we think! We are calling all gardeners to reserve your plot in the Chapel Hill garden. For our new residents, Chapel Hill has a garden on site and is one of the Project Grow gardens in Ann Arbor. For additional information and to sign up, please go to www.projectgrowgardens.org.  Applications are being accepted now. Our garden is for the residents of Chapel Hill and high in demand so it is best to reserve a plot early.

Previous gardeners can request their previous plot or a specific plot if that renter is not returning. New gardeners will be on a first come first serve basis. It is possible to share a plot if you have someone who would enjoy sharing yours.

The Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation presents:

Weekly featured walks in the Ann Arbor parks
There is an abundance of research on why walking in nature is good for our brains, bodies, and emotional well-being. And the research is also telling us that we need to head outside even in winter because those benefits apply even if you do not enjoy the temperature. Ann Arbor Parks & Recreation, together with Natural Area Preservation, will begin weekly hosted walks in some parks and natural areas in the system. You can explore on your own or join us for the specific events. Visit Every Park swag will be available to inspire your journey and motivate you to get out and enjoy nature more in 2021! Be sure to tag us in your pictures using hashtag #a2parkwalks

The staff created a survey we welcome you to complete after each walk to help us make improvements to the program. To view/download (see attachment) a map and information about the first walk, Saturday, Feb. 6, 10-11 a.m. at Hansen Nature Area visit the website. Please remember to wear a mask and stay 6 feet apart from others outside your household.

Pet Reminders

–Do keep dogs on a leash. The city of Ann Arbor requires this and it creates a sense of comfort for anyone you encounter. Just because you know your pet is well-mannered and has strong recall skills doesn’t mean your neighbors do. Seeing an unleashed dog walking toward them can make anyone nervous.
–Don’t let your dog urinate on other people’s lawns, shrubs, trees, mailboxes, or any other piece of property. Clean up waste as it occurs, and always bring extra baggies.
–Do keep your dog close as other dogs’ pass. Always ask the owner’s permission before you and your dog approach them, and if the owner declines, do not make objections. If both sides agree, let your dog’s approach each other calmly and keep an eye out for aggressive behavior. If you encounter a person without pets, only let your dog approach if they ask it to.
–Don’t allow your pet to jump on other dogs. It could lead to injury, and it is important your dog learns that not all canines enjoy this kind of interaction.
