SNOW REMOVAL REMINDERS
Snow removal for the entire property including walks, roads and parking lots is done by our maintenance staff. Snow removal is typically started after 2” of snow has fallen. If we get 2” of snow, and snow is still falling, we may wait for the snow to stop before snow removal is started in full force.
We typically first plow the streets and the center of the parking lots as well as removing snow from the walks. Once vehicles start moving from the lots, we will begin plowing the entire lot. It is particularly important; all vehicles be moved from the lot to the streets so that the lot can be fully plowed. An empty lot can be plowed within minutes. A lot with vehicles in it will take much longer. Once your lot has been plowed, move vehicles back into the parking lot. Do not park your vehicle overnight on the streets—even if your lot did not get plowed.
We will text updates during the snow removal process. Please make sure we have your cell phone number, so you are receiving the information.
Clean all the snow off from your vehicle and be prepared to move it when it is time for your lot to be plowed.
We are no longer taking car keys and moving cars. If you are planning on going out of town and need to leave your car, please contact the office and we will direct you where to park.
Vehicles not moved by the 2nd or 3rd day after a snowstorm are subject to being tagged and towed.
Our goal is to get the snow and ice removed efficiently and safely as possible.
FREEZING TEMPERATURES
It is that time of year again for sub-zero temperatures. Please protect yourself from freezing water pipes by keeping the temperature up in your home even if you are away. Keeping the cupboards doors under the sinks open will help keep the water lines warmer. In extreme conditions where there are sub-zero temperatures with high wind conditions, allow the faucet to run slowly.
