SEWER LINES:
Please do not flush any items other than toilet paper and human waste into the sewer system. Flushing any other items into the sewer system can cause a blockage in the sewer line and can lead to a sewer backup into the basements.
There are many products being marketed as “flushable.” Such items, including “flushable” wipes and “flushable” kitty litter have been known to cause blockages and backups and should NOT be flushed. These items should be placed into the trash containers.
In addition, cooking grease or oil should NOT be poured down the drain. Many people mistakenly believe that if they run hot water into the drain with the grease that there will not be a problem. However, at some point in the sewer line, the grease will solidify and will cause problems either immediately or down the road.
Each building has multiple homes contributing to the sewer line running below the building so depending on where you are at on the line, whatever you flush may have to travel for a while before it reaches the main line.
Pest Control
Pest Control is here weekly, every Thursday.
If you are in need of this service please contact the office.
